Hi how how are you? Its been a never ending adventure in Bali. A Spanish restaurant with a unique theme. It has a bit of hippy vibe, Mexican style, antique style and etc.
Upon arrival they ask if i had made reservation? As i came on peek hours. Luckily it was not full so they let me pass through. There is a long stretch of pavement and as i walk by there was a few mini houses.
I think i got the best spot because the other spot is either too open or too bright by the shine of the sunlight.
I was astonished with my ceiling that is made out of a tree! How cool is that?
Yes! This is the other area to chill… too open right? I prefer a bit of privacy
Can you see those pillows in turquoise? It is a long table under reservation for bigger crowds.
I really like this place as the owner decorated perfectly. There is a lot of details that the owner add on. You tend to overlook as it seems chill and nice… but if you observe carefully all those little details makes the place perfect.
What is The Rich Prada? well… its a name of a hotel in Pecatu,Bali. Every single time… before i fly to Bali, its an addicting habit to survey all the hotels in Bali and there you go i found The Rich Prada Hotel
The hotel is located like…. at the end of the world and when we arrive…. it was really quiet….. Do you know that kind of feeling where when you book the hotel its all seem perfect and nice?
Well… for this hotel its almost perfect?
This is what i mean… its not a new hotel and should i give a 5 star rating? where else in agoda they did gave a 5 star rating.
Good news! The morning view was breathtaking
Introducing Calico Peach Kebaya
Location: Hidden Gem in the hotel
What a good news…. after breakfast i kind a stumble upon this huge…. hall. I love the design of the door. To make it even better? The crafting of the door is similar to my pareo design!
My favourite? is the earrings! I just love the sweet flower covering almost all of my ear.
After walking through the beautiful door, keep on walking…. until the end… you will find this place.
Humongous flowers chandelier! if you want to find this place i suggest you ask the hotel staff as i stumble upon it. I would never thought this hall existed in this hugeeeee hotel.
Overall the hotel architecture and view is tremendous. The downside is the staff was not friendly at all and for a big hotel they need to hire more staff as its quite dusty.
Hello how are you? just as i promise wanna share with you the most affordable place to go to spa in Bali. You won’t believe your eyes when u see the place looks luxurious.
Body work spa located just at the side of the road, literally the entrance is at the side. When i first arrive at the place i assume it was a villa as it has a small entrance. When i walk in…. there were full of staff in turquoise kebaya everywhere…. so i thought to myself i am at the right place.
Let me describe you about the place.. as you walk in… there is a reception counter, usually it would be around four girls seating down at the table to offer you assistance. On the left there will be a saloon and on the right there would be a seating area with free drinks.
After browsing the brochure i have book myself a full body spa and manicure! yippie
Walking through the spa palace i see a beautiful garden, i couldn’t resist to take photos. Can you see the little door there? That is the room i have to step in to do the full body spa.
Ain’t it pretty?
Done with my body spa! i feel like a queen…. seriously? yea because the staff just showered me. I’ve never been showered before… only when i was like a kid? by my mom? Just visit the place and you understand what i mean.
Walking up the stairs to do my manicure.
What more can i say? great staff, good service, excellent ambience and well satisfied customer.
I wanted to try a different kind of hotel for this trip in Bali. Feeling a bit of a surfer girl vibe so i check in at Bliss Surfer Hotel Bali.
In your face… All about the surfing art. A really nice art and this was the reception counter.
Well… as you can see here this is all their recognition. That is one of the reason i choose to stay in this hotel as it had 5 star from trivago. The staff was great, the food was not bad and the room is pretty spacious. Its worth the value of your money.
Hanging tree by the pool… how lovely is that? This is the view as your walking towards the breakfast area which is to the right.
There is a variety of food to choose from!
Their fried aubergine is super super delicious
Close up to the pool! Do you feel just wanna dive in? lol
I am really amaze how they decorate the trees by the pool and by the walking pavements. It feels…. homy… or by the beach?
If you walk straight ahead that is where the reception is located. I guess i found my chilling spot =)
You are a newbie… no ideas where to surf? where to go? ladies…. do you wanna go for a spa? all is being prepared right here… pick one!
I do apologize for the late post of part-2 on Bali island as its been a hectic month for me….I’m going to do a little twist from the part-1 on Bali island which is only until day 5. I should be continuing on day 6 but those 3 days i was on Gili island and there is too many photos to be uploaded and share on just one blog….. I have decided to split them up.
Here we go!
Look at those ceiling, their architecture of woods crafting and the lights is magnificent. Here we are at Padma Resort Ubud. This hotel is located quite further up in Ubud. Even the temperature is slight colder than usual.
This little ones keeps on following me wherever i go…. like i’m their mama chick but i think they were hungry as i kept snapping my fingers near them, they innocently open their mouth in an adorable way….
I was ecstatic about this hotel! The first thing i did was taking some cool photos of the bathrooms!
My friend hinted at the receptionist that it was my birthday, to think that they will surprise me with a birthday cake but instead they gave us this room with a garden view which is very limited.
The view was breathtaking with all the green peace
By the time we reach the hotel it was in the evening, so we had a quick swim at night. It was my first time swimming in the pool where the temperature is warm…..and cozy. During the night you literally can see the pool looks like a sauna with the breeze but of course not hot temperature, just a slight warm. It was really good.
Getting ready for dinner
The Puhu Restaurant& Lounge
As we were walking to the breakfast Lounge Puhu Restaurant, they greeted us with a balinese traditional music. Those instruments is call ‘Gamelan’.
The breakfast were super delicious
This breakfast lounge is killing it with dope view!
The path to the pool….
Breathtaking view from the pool itself
I found a secret pool and a mini mountain
Its time to say goodbye to this extraordinary hotel.
Overall it is the best hotel i have stayed as the staff is really humble and keep smiling with everyone its like their themselves are having holidays. The food was great, the best pool as it is well known for their infinity pool and it is rated top 3 best pools in Bali. So all of you lovelies reader should visit this Padma Resort Ubud.
Sadly we had a short stay so we could not do the outdoor activities that they provided such as jogging in the jungle and at the end of the path they offered a beautiful view of paddy fields. The best part it is within the hotel compound. You can imagine exactly how big is their land. Suitable for families, couples and friends who just want to get away from everything. In conclusion its like your small mini bali without the beach.
Hello peeps how are you doing? Why 11 days in Bali?
Its a special day and month for me as me and my friend has been planning this trip for a few months…… to celebrate my birthday which falls on November and what a coincidence for 11 days! get it?
Lets start off with the 1st day
Well we reached quite late so we didn’t able to take much photos.
This is my second time staying here as the price is reasonable. In addition they offer spa and menicure pedicure services. It is really convenient for us….. so that we don’t need to walk and search for others plus it save us a lot of time.
Sweet view ain’t it? If you are interested to know more about this hotel please click the link below:
There is a few Hotel Neo in Bali so be sure to click on this one! because its the best.
We head out about an hour drive to Ubud. Once we step out the car…… there was 2 ladies approaching us selling some sarong or a long cloth to cover our legs before stepping in the temple. The initial price they offer were expensive! luckily with some basic knowledge of Indonesian language…. we get about 60-70% off? Be sure to bargain with them. If you can’t bargain that much just bargain a little.
While walking down to this area….. there will be a few tour guides offering their services to tell the history of this place. Unfortunately we didn’t need their services because the place was not that big. We took a shortcut! Just eavesdrop others tour guides….. Basically…. inside the cave is just a small temple for prayers.
Caught this women just in time for her prayers. This is the Balinese women attire when comes to praying.
On the way down there is small lake
This tree has been around for thousands of years. Each body tree has a seed inside it. The seed represents the heart of the tree. It is being used to create medicine.
After a long walk at the Elephant cave, its time to head out for lunch
Smoked Salmon with Egg Toast
Avocado with Egg Toast
I was intrigue with the interior decoration so let me share with you some
Outdoor seating area
Entrance of the desserts, well it doesn’t look appealing but the desserts were superb.
Teddy Bear coffee
How adorable is that? hanging spoon?
A little heads up this restaurant is call ‘Monsieur Spoon’ and they have it a few in Bali so be sure to only visit in Ubud because it has the best interior decoration and their food is thumbs up!!!
I like the design of the restaurant because it reminds me of the village houses in Malaysia. Surprisingly the food is great.
The price i would say moderate around $5-$8 because the portion is a lot. This Warung Etnik is located at Kuta and really nearby Hotel Neo Kuta+Legian. Kuta is the main town area…
We did visiting to Elephant Cave on our second day, due to that it used up a lot of our time. My oh my Ubud! there were a lot of shops to shop! So we head up back to Ubud, to my suprise Ubud has a lot to offer from shopping, sightseeing and great food.
While walking from shop to shop…. we got lost? oh well stumble upon this statute… why not?
On the way back to town, we were able to capture this view such a magnificent view.
The most memorable day! its on my birthday so we head out for lunch at sisterfield.
We needed to digest our food as we were very full. We headed out to the opposite mall which is call ‘Seminyak Village’. Its only been a year since i long visit Bali and there is a new mall! The only mall that i have known in Seminyak is Seminyak square and now there is two malls, which are:
Butterflies christmas tree. I will never get bored with Balinese art they are such creative and talented people. Do check out the link of ‘Seminyak Village‘ you will be surprise the variety of brands they offer.
Well hello chica 😉
All that browsing around on what to shop? We just got tired and head out to desserts. It is…. my birthday right? 🙂
The bed is humongous! it was spacious enough for the two of us…. A reminder for parents who is bringing a long a kid? You guys can definitely fit on the bed….
The room is spa….cious and comes with a balcony. The toilet need a bit of fixing from the plumber as it got slight flooded. Other then that it is totally good. Your location is just smack in the middle of the mall, restaurants, bars, desserts cafe and etc. You name it you can literally walk around here and there Every….thing is convenient.
I hope i was able to give you guys a glimpse about Bali. If you have any questions regarding on other places to recommend or which hotels to stay or even anything. Please don’t be shy to drop by an email or you can just DM me straight on my instagram.
It all started 15 years ago, my parents had bring me to this gorgeous hotel. It was beautiful, fresh and the layout was in white. My favourite colour! Plus with a wood combination that delivers a warm ambience.
Not until recently i found out that the hotel name was Ayana resort and spa Ayana link
I have been dreaming to stay at this hotel and one fine day I choose Rimba hotel. It is like Ayana twin hotel. It is a humongous compound that is 90 hectare! The best part is RIMBA hotel has 4 pools and Ayana hotel has 4 pools too. I can just take a shuttle bus from RIMBA hotel to AYANA hotel when I’m bored with RIMBA hotel pools…..
Cool sitting area for a lobby right?
As you can see from the picture RIMBA hotel has a total of 4 pools
I’m in love with rooms that offer a direct pool access.
Really cute bath tub
YES! Pool access straight from the room. Oh my another pool? have you lost count how many pool there is in RIMBA hotel? I have a weakness for a room that have direct access to the pool
I took a shuttle bus to AYANA hotel. I was mesmerise by the beach view. This photo was taken from the top of the hill. Oh boy… I wasn’t ready to go all the way down to the beach. There is a stairs just below my camera but i wasn’t up for it that day.
I just hang out at the tree house cafe. The food was to die for it is really yummy. The ‘satay’ is the best i have ever tried in my life. The ‘nasi campur’ a mixture of rice and variety of gravy is delicious too! Before you go down to the beach you might wanna have a meal first up here. In addition to that the staff was really friendly and warm.
I do not want to go back because i have not use both of the hotel facilities! lol
Best red snapper i have ever tried. You know why? i do not like orange flavour mix with food but this… the taste was delicious!
If you have been following me you would have known that i am addicted to coffee! Surprisingly those cookies you see was delicious it just melted in my mouth. Not to hard and not to soft.
I highly recommend this place although it is pricey but you get to use both of the hotels facilities! In addition it is far from town and far from the hustle and bustle
Would you want to stay this hotel if you are in Bali?
